Only 2 more days until we start our ride to Hong-Kong and we have VERY exciting news! Our deal with Wilde Ganzen is officially through. This means that all donations will be multiplied with 1.5 until we reach a total of €75.000.

The Wilde Ganzen Foundation is a Dutch NGO, with a mission to reduce poverty and inequality through community-led initiatives. Wilde Ganzen supports community-based organisations in the Global South and their Dutch fundraising partners in joint efforts to achieve a better future because we believe communities should have control over their own development.

The donations done before the day that the contract starts will also be multiplied by 1.5 so if you already donated your donation will now have an even bigger impact. Nevertheless you should donate again so that we can start our projects in Colombia. In other but equally exciting news. We picked up Max's bike from Fietsen Hermans so Max is now all ready to leave once his thesis is finished.

We would like to express our gratitude to Tom and his business again as he and his brother made it possible for us to start this journey by lending us their travel bikes.

Lastly there is a little announcement for the near future. On the day of departure there will be a professional photographer from Dagblad the Limburger which will write an article about us. The day of departure is as mentioned before the 21st of August Sam will be leaving from the Vrijthof in Maastricht at 11.11 and he'll be present at about 10.00 so if you want to join us for our first kilometres, want to come say goodbye or just want to see who you're donating to be there!
